The ROSISU Deluxe Sauna Mat offers a hygienic alternative to cotton or polyester towels in the sauna. This extra long mat provides a comfortable barrier between you and the sauna bench.

Made with one layer of 100% wool felt, the Deluxe Sauna Mat is perfect for people who want to lie down in the sauna, or who want to sit on the plushness of a folded mat.

  • Made in the USA
  • 100% Wool (domestically sourced undyed wool felt)
  • Approximately 1/8-3/16" thick
  • 100% wool yarn dyed trim (domestically sourced)

Our products are crafted with minimally processed, 100% wool
felt. Because sheep enjoy the outdoors, you may occasionally notice small
amounts of organic material in the fabric. These are natural characteristics of
the material, not defects.

Due to the natural variations in undyed wool and the abstract design of our fabric, each piece will vary in color. No two will be exactly alike. Slight variations in thickness may be expected.

Care

  • Gently squeeze out excess moisture after use - do not wring.
  • Air out between uses and store when completely dry.
  • When needed, hand wash gently in cool water with mild detergent-- do not scrub. Reshape and air dry. Steam iron if desired.

  • Returns for store credit are accepted on unused items within 7 days of delivery. Sale, discount-code and bundle purchases are final sale.
  • Contact us at hello@rosisu.com to initiate a return or exchange.
  • Accepted items must be unused and have original tags still attached.
  • Due to hygienic reasons, we cannot accept returns on used sauna mats or hats.

Most items are made to order. When you place your order, we cut and sew your sauna gear from scratch. Orders ship from our Seattle studio within 4 weeks, and most ship sooner.

I didn't know I needed a sauna mat. I was perfectly happy with my cedar bench and towel. I bought one as a gift. Then I realized I needed my own. This sauna mat is a massive upgrade to the sauna experience. The wool feels amazing The bench is no longer scorching. An uncomfortable hot session is now comfortable in all the right ways. This is also a beautifully handcrafted piece of art. Just amazing.

This product sheds water really impressively. It can be totally submerged and then you pick it up by a corner and almost all the water just runs off. Seems to keep the thing from growing smelly as well (I have only used it a dozen or so times but it smells fresh as day 1 which a conventional towel certainly wouldn't). The one negative thing I have to say about it is it will become a bit frizzy over repeated contact with wood or the like and little hairs will potentially stick to stuff. Still, overall its very impressive.
